❗COVID-19❗

❗Booking during 2020 COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic❗
(updated 17 June 2020)

We are gutted* (see translations below) that we’ve not been able to welcome visitors this spring. Sadly, the weather has been braw* while Kilbride Cottage remains closed in line with Scottish Government advice to
STAY AT HOME – PROTECT NHS SCOTLAND – SAVE LIVES.

At the moment, it’s not clear when it will be safe to travel again.
All Scottish holiday accommodation is (by law) currently closed. In Phase 3 of the Scottish lockdown exit plan, travel restrictions in Scotland begin to ease (currently restricted to 5 miles). Holiday accommodation may be able to re-open at that time. We will potentially enter Phase 3 on 15th July.
Please note: any international visitors entering the UK MUST self-isolate/quarantine for 14 days.

2020 – please contact us BEFORE making a 2020 booking.
2021 – we are open for bookings in 2021.
And don’t worry – if you book a stay for either year, and then can’t travel because of COVID-19 government restrictions, we’ll transfer your booking to a future available date or give you a full refund.

So, until you can visit in person…. why not take a virtual dauner* round the cottage on our website? And have a look at the many great things to see and do in the area.

❤ Haste ye back! ❤
