❗COVID-19❗

❗Booking during 2020 COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic❗
(updated 30 July 2020)

We are gutted* (see translations below) that we’ve not been able to welcome visitors so far this year. Sadly, the weather has been braw* while Kilbride Cottage was closed in line with Scottish Government legislation to
STAY AT HOME – PROTECT NHS SCOTLAND – SAVE LIVES.

We are now in Phase 3 of the Scottish lockdown exit plan , and travel restrictions in Scotland have been eased. As a result, self catering accommodation was able to re-open from 3rd July and other accommodation from 15th July. You can read the current Scottish Government guidance and advice here.

We are therefore pleased to say we will be open again for 2020 bookings from the start of August.

2020 – please still contact us BEFORE making a 2020 booking, just in case there are any changes or local restrictions.
2021 – we are open for bookings in 2021.
And don’t worry – if you book a stay for either year, and then can’t travel because of COVID-19 government restrictions, we’ll transfer your booking to a future available date or give you a full refund.

Please note: international visitors UK MUST follow relevant guidance on self-isolation including 14 day quarantine from some areas.

So, until you can visit in person…. why not take a virtual dauner* round the cottage on our website? And have a look at the many great things to see and do in the area.

We had posted the #loveFifelater video during lockdown.

Now we are happy to share the #loveFifeagain video
– an even better way to start planning for 2021
❤ Haste ye back! ❤
